Here is a brief ‘Terms of Service’ document for our clients. We see our relationship as one of trust. That said, having some guidance as to what you can expect from us and what we expect from you will help keep things simple. 

Delivery Zones

  • We currently have four delivery zones: Pedals Home Zone, Pedals Away Zone North, Pedals Away Zone South, and the Resi Zone (view interactive map, here).

  • Standard prices are for deliveries within a delivery zone. Deliveries across zones will include a surcharge and an extension to the delivery time (except same day deliveries which are still due by 5pm).

  • For time sensitive deliveries (Sub60, Sub30, and Screamer)

    • The standard times will increase by half when crossing between the Pedals Home Zone and either of the Pedals Away Zones ie. a 30-minute service will be due within 45 minutes.

    • The standard times will double when crossing between the two Away Zones ie. a 30 minute service will be due within an hour.

  • The Resi Zone is for same day deliveries only. If you select a different service the due time and fee will adjust accordingly

Capacity and Standard Delivery 

  • A standard delivery size and weight is up to one A4 box (or equivalent) of up to 15kg, beyond which a surcharge will be added.

  • We carry a maximum of 6 A4 boxes per delivery, or 90kg, and will run multiple trips for a delivery job that exceeds either volume or weight.

Pricing and Payment

Our standard pricing is outlined below. Your pricing options may differ from our standard pricing. We will agree on your pricing before providing our service. Prices quoted are for standard delivery size deliveries within the Pedals Home Zone

  • Surcharges are added for: 1) additional A4 boxes; 2) deliveries between the Pedals Home Zone and the Pedals Away Zones; 3) flat/corflute packages larger than an A3, and; 4) delays to pick-up greater than 3 minutes will be charged in 5 minute increments (at our discretion). Refer to table below.

  • A minimum delivery fee of $10 is charged for one-off deliveries (ie. for customers without an account).

  • All prices quoted are GST exclusive. GST will be added at invoicing.

  • You will be provided a detailed invoice at the end of each month.

  • Payment by bank transfer is due 7 days from the date of your invoice .

  • Our standard pricing is subject to change. We will alert existing customers in advance to any changes that may impact them.

Promotions

First Delivery Free

  • Within one month of signing up to a TwinJet account, you are eligible to any free delivery service, excluding our Screamer Service

  • Book your free delivery via your TwinJet account

  • The First Delivery Free offer is not available in conjunction with our Referral programme offer (below)

  • Pedals Dunedin retains the right to withhold this promotional offer

Referral Programme 

  • When signing up to Pedals using the online form found here, identify an existing customer of Pedals as your referrer.

  • Both you and your referrer will receive a free $25 credit when you order your first delivery

  • Pedals Dunedin retains the right to withhold this promotional offer

Hours of Service

  • Our hours of service are between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

  • Same-Day deliveries are available for booking from 8:00am until 3:30pm. After this, either a Sub60 or faster delivery should be booked, or the due time should be set for the following day.

  • Sub60 deliveries are available until 4:15pm for the Home Zone, or 3:30pm for the Away Zone. After this, a Sub30 or faster delivery should be booked.

  • You can book jobs before 8:00am, however the due time will be based on an 8:00am start (so a Sub60 job will be due by 9:00am).

  • If a delivery is needed out of hours (or after 4:30pm), please call us to check if this is possible (charged at the Screamer delivery rate).

Online booking system: TwinJet

  • TwinJet is our booking software system. We can set you up with an account free of charge and without obligation.

  • We appreciate it if you note large deliveries or other useful information in the ‘Special Instructions’ box. This helps us plan our deliveries. You do not need to adjust prices for large deliveries. We add any surcharges on completion.

  • Please address deliveries carefully. Any confusions or difficulty causing delay in delivery may incur a surcharge.

  • We will generally use the recipient’s first name for Proof of Delivery. On special request for high-value items, we can include a photo requirement (at your request).

Our Guarantees

  • In the unlikely event of loss or damage to items at the fault of one of our staff, and we are satisfied that the loss or damage is our responsibility, we will cover the replacement cost (up to a value of $1,000).

  • Urgent deliveries (Sub30, Screamer) are price-guaranteed. If we run late on these deliveries, we will only charge the lower price level.

Miscellaneous

  • For undeliverable items, we will call you to discuss options, such as a redelivery or a return to sender. A redelivery or a return to sender will be considered as a separate job.

  • If a delivery is cancelled before we have begun the delivery, we will not charge for that delivery. If a delivery is cancelled after a rider has arrived for collection, a delivery fee will be charged.

  • For unusual or bulky deliveries, or for deliveries outside the Away Zone, please call us to discuss. We will be happy to negotiate a price for you if we can help.

  • We reserve the right to turn down a delivery if we do not think it is safe or possible for us to complete it.

  • If circumstances (e.g. severe weather) mean that we need to halt deliveries for safety or otherwise, we will notify you.

  • We offer a personable and friendly service. For any questions or concerns, please call us to discuss your requirements.

  • Our terms of service are subject to change. We will alert you to any changes.
